Set up the test
Upload the Excel case you already use, or pick one of our LBO, real estate and IB models. Mark the cells to grade. Choose the format: guided, structure given, or a blank sheet.

Send private links
Email each candidate a timed link, or copy the links into your own email or ATS. The clock starts when they press Start.

Read the scorecards
Every graded cell, the cell where their model broke, time used, and an integrity timeline. Candidates are ranked side by side for the role.

What counts as a search?
One role you're filling. A search is $750 and covers up to 75 candidates tested on that role's case. Buy several at once, and unused invites never expire.
Can I use the case study I already send candidates?
Yes. Upload the Excel file under Models, mark the cells you want graded (or mark every formula in one click), and publish. Candidates don't have to copy your layout: each answer is found on their sheet by its row label.
Do candidates need a SheetRank account?
No. Each candidate gets a private link by email, or you copy the links and send them yourself. They need a laptop or desktop. The clock starts only when they press Start, their work saves as they go, and whatever they've built is submitted when time runs out.
How do you catch cheating?
Copying out of the test is blocked. Time away from the test, pastes and full-screen exits are recorded on a timeline, the build is captured so you can replay it, and builds that match another candidate's are flagged. You can also block pasting or require full screen. These are signals for you to judge, never automatic fails.
Who sees a candidate's results?
Only the account that sent the invite. Candidates are never added to marketing lists or shown to other firms. To delete a candidate's results, email hello@sheetrank.com.
